Every component hand-assembled by our students. Built in the KRB workshop across thirteen weeks of dedicated sessions.

Steel space-frame chassis assembled and aligned by our Build Team, providing the structural backbone of the car.

Dual SLA battery system configured and wired by students following full safety protocols. Zero emissions, full power.
Livery & Identity
Our Media & Design Team developed the Racing Hearts identity, bringing KRB's navy, red, and gold to the racetrack.

Our Journey

From unboxing the kit to crossing the start line at our first UK race day - every milestone on our road to competition.

Week 1–2
Induction & Kit Unboxing
We met the team, learnt about the UK trip, tried the driving simulator, then unpacked and checked every part of the kit before starting on the frame.

Week 3–4
Frame Build & Team Identity
The build team worked on the frame and main structure while the designers sketched logos and we voted on our team name: The Racing Hearts!

Week 5–6
Mechanical Build & Logo Finalised
The car took shape as the builders worked through the mechanical checklist, and after a team vote our red and teal logo was finalised.

Week 7–8
First Drive
The car started to look like a real car, we sourced race gear in our sizes, and Joseph took the Goblin on its very first drive - on Mr Wheeler's birthday!

Week 9–10
Race Gear, Genesis & Track Day
We tried on our race suits, Genesis filmed the team for their campaign, our stickers went on, and we tested the car at Sydney Motorsport Park with champion driver Josh Buchan.

Week 11–12
Pit Crew Training & Team Spirit
Timed tyre-change practice to pick our fastest pit crew, finishing touches on the stickers, our team song and chant, and a presentation at the Barat-Burn assembly.

Week 13
Final Gathering & Crating
Our last session before the trip - final tyre-change battles, team song practice, and the car packed up and freighted to England.

Week 14
UK Race Tour
The Racing Hearts head to England for three race days: Ford Dunton, Predannack Airfield and Goodwood Motor Circuit.
